Updated: January 7, 2009
There will be some changes for six Tri-State high school football teams for the 2007 high school football season. The IHSAA has decided to re-classify or shift six area teams to new divisions. All will drop one class beginning next fall. Reitz and Harrison will move from their current 5A status to 4A. Mt. Vernon, Bosse and Vincennes Lincoln drop from 4A to 3A. Mater Dei, who was 3A, drops down to 2A. IHSAA officials will look into another shakeup before the start of the 2009 season.
