Basketball Begins

This Friday night Local 7 Live will debut our High School Basketball Game of the Week. Chris Goodman and I will be at F.J. Reitz to bring you all the action as Vincennes Lincoln takes on the Panthers. Game time will be 7:00 pm for every game this season. Most high school games normally begin at 7:30 pm, but due to our needing to be able to end our games prior to our 9:00 pm news cast, all home teams have accommodated up on this request. So make sure you plan ahead to come one half hour earlier when we are scheduled to broadcast our games.
Indiana and Kentucky have always been a hot bed for basketball. After all everyone equates basketball to Indiana ala Hoosiers (the movie). Kentucky's heritage is equal in stature to Indiana's as throughout history, the Big Blue has primarily recruited from The Blue Grass State.
We have included both Indiana and Kentucky match-ups and will feature all of the perennial power house programs this year. We will hopefully continue through the sectionals to the State Championship games. This area s loaded with tremendous talent; we will be able to follow the progress of these great players into their NCAA careers in the future.
Both Chris and I are looking forward to every tip off and we would love to hear from you concerning our broadcasts.
