Kentucky upset at home by Gardner-Webb

Gardner-Webb raced to a 14-0 lead and never looked back, en route to an 84-68 victory over 22nd-ranked Kentucky at Rupp Arena on Wednesday night. The Wildcats got as close as seven points in the first half and within eight in the second half but could never overcome the huge deficit. Senior Ramel Bradley led UK with 24 points, tying his career-high which he set at Arkansas on February 3rd, 2007. Freshman Patrick Patterson finished with his first career double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Gardner-Webb (2-0) advances to the 2K Sports semifinals next Thursday, November 15th, in New York City. Kentucky (1-1) doesnt play until Wednesday, November 21st, at home against Liberty. ----- Elsewhere on Wednesday night, the Vincennes University women beat Danville 106-100 in overtime.
