Hart Heads to Warren Central

Its official. Reitz is looking for a new football coach. John Hart has accepted Indianapolis Warren Centrals offer to become Warriors football coach. Warren Township officials recommended him for the job Wednesday Night and the school board approved their recommendation. John Hart told Fox 7 by phone, that his decision to leave was the most difficult personal decision of his entire life. His desire to compete on a national stage and the chance for a new challenge were deciding factors in the move. Hart won 73 games in seven seasons as head coach of the Reitz Panthers. That includes four City and SIAC Titles. Five Sectional Championships and two Regional Titles. The defining moments of his Panther Coaching Career were the 2007 4A Semistate and State Titles. The search for John Harts successor at Reitz will begin immediately. It should conclude with the hiring of a new coach by mid January.
