Major League Baseball Hall of Fame third baseman Brooks Robinson will be the featured guest at next years Night of Memories. FOX 7 Sports reported the news first at six oclock on Saturday night.
Robinson played his entire 23-year career with the Baltimore Orioles. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1983. Nicknamed the "Human Vacuum Cleaner," Robinson is known as the best defensive third baseman to ever grace the hot-corner. He won 16-straight Gold Gloves, was selected to 15-consecutive All-Star games and played in four World Series. He was the MVP of the 1970 World Series.
Robinson will join the likes of local baseball greats Don Mattingly and Jamey Carroll at the Vanderburgh County 4H Center on Saturday, February 9th.
