SWIRCA Games Held in Evansville

The Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging, or SWIRCA, kicked off its River City Games on Sunday.
The first event was the cycling competition at the Blue Grass Fish and Wild Life Area. The second event was swimming, held at the downtown Evansville YMCA.
Organizers say the competitive and recreational events games are open to anyone age 50 and older.
Some of the other events include bowling, tennis, table tennis, and basketball.
Organizers say a lot of these athletes will go on to the state games in Indianapolis, and onto the National Senior Games.
