Nearly 30 people are behind bars tonight after a Gibson County drug raid. The raid started around early Thursday morning.

Princeton police say 27 people are behind bars following the drug raid and 10 remain wanted. Those arrested face charges ranging from dealing meth, possession of meth, dealing a controlled substance, and purchase of more than 3.6 grams of psuedoephedrine.

Most of the arrests happened in Princeton, but police say arrests were also made in Owensville, Fort Branch, Haubstadt and other areas of Gibson County. Police say around half of those arrested were doing their alleged crimes around children.

Detective/Sergeant Mike Hurt of the Princeton Police Department says they found meth, guns, needles, and syringes in an apartment where children lived.

Hurt says the raid should put a dent into meth use in Gibson County. Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation. It was led by Mike Hurt and Derek McGraw of the Princeton Police Department.

Please see the document attached to this article for a complete list of those arrested during the raid.
