The Convention and Visitor's Bureau unveils a brand new logo and promotion for the city of Evansville today. This new advertising campaign is trying to target leisure travelers to come visit the city of Evansville.

Data was collected and used to design an extensive survey on what makes Evansville a unique and entertaining city to visit.

"All of this is tied back to some very serious research that we've done over the past several months to determine who our customers are," said CVB Director Bob Warren, "where they are coming from, what their perceptions are on Evansville, and we are just trying to grow the tourism industry, and this is a big day for us."

One of the new campaign promotions says "Evansville is Where the Midwest Meets."
