The University of Evansville honors several donors who have given over $135 million to the school. The college wants to recognize those who have contributed to the university with a unique display outside on the campus grounds. Donors of 1 million or more will be inducted into UE's new display.

The University of Evansville says they plan to invest these contributions among the school's various facilities and programs.

"The names of those individuals and institutions will be inblazed on plaques," said UE President Tom Kazee, "and put in the center of campus in an area that we are going to call the Clifford Circle, and it will be a way to recognize any perpetuity those people who have been most instrumental in the success of the university."

Today's ceremony for donors had to be moved indoors in the university's Peterson Gallary due to the hot weather conditions.
