Air Conditioning Units Doubling the Output

With all this heat, does it feel like it's taking longer for your A/C to cool down your home? There's good reason for it.

Service technicians say air conditioning units are working double time. E. L. Walters Air Conditioning and Heating says if you set your thermostat to a higher temperature while you're at work during the day, then bring it down to a more comfortable temperature when you arrive home. The air conditioner won't be able to keep up with the demand. Your best bet is just to keep the temp low all day, even if it'll cost you a little more on your electric bill.

"It's not going to be able to keep up," said Lon Walters of E.L. Walters. "A/C equipment in this area is designed for 94 degress. When we hit 107, that's a temperature difference we can't get to. If you go home, and your house is 80 degrees, and you've got it set to 72, don't be surprised."

Walters says the high demand won't actually do any damage to your system. It just won't be able to cool down to the temperature you want it because it's working so hard.

BTU's and load basic thermodynamics Enthalpy using Endothermal reactions and entropy factoring, forced convection, using the Joule Thompson effect, heat sink,Psychrometric conditions vs what insulates thermal transfer and saturation points are the rules there. The only relative load I see during that report was the amount of bovine scatology that silly service tech. just fed you.
