Overnight House Fire Remains Under Investigation

The fire broke out around 10 o'clock Friday night on East Maryland. When firefighters arrived, they found fire visible from two windows of the house. Crews managed to get the fire under control within the hour. No one was home at the time of the fire but firefighters did have to revive a dog that was trapped inside.
Officials with Animal Control say the dog is expected to make a full recovery.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
