It's official, the entire state of Illnois is in a drought. And Governor Pat Quinn plans a trip to southern Illinois Monday to discuss the state's plan for responding to these dry conditions.
The state climatologist says Illinois needs several good-sized rains to turn things around. Quinn is uring people in Illinois to pray for rain, and his office is working on a variety of plans to provide relief to farmers and communities.
