Members at one Evansville church are going barefoot to help give back and comfort those in need.  Sunday, Blue Grass Church on Petersburg Road in Evansville participated in Barefoot Sunday.  Church members were invited to leave their shoes on the altar to be donated to the poor.  Some people removed their shoes and walked out of church barefoot.  More than 300 pairs of shoes were collected.  They will go to the Nashville charity Soles 4 Souls Incorporated, which donates new and gently worn shoes to victims of natural disasters and those living in extreme poverty.  If you didn't make it Sunday, Blue Grass Church is collecting shoes all week.
