Bluegrass In The Park

A breeze off the river and the sweet sound of music draws bluegrass fans to Henderson's downtown. Chicago band the Special Consensus entertained the crowd at Audubon Mill Park Saturday afternoon. They're one of 13 bands performing at the 27th annual Henderson Bluegrass In The Park Folklife Festival. Organizers say the style of music, which originated in the Bluegrass State is still picking up new fans of every age. The event also includes a street pole vault competition.
