St. Mary's Nurse Reunion

They get together once every five years, and some travel from as far away as Mexico. The Saint Mary's School of Nursing alumni reunion was held Sunday afternoon in Evansville. More than 200 alumni from the school attended. Organizers say some of the alumni made the trip from places like California, Texas, and Mexico, and some are from the class of 1945. The Saint Mary's School of Nursing opened in 1894, to address the shortage of trained medical professionals in the Evansville area at that time. It closed in 1967.
