WOMI radio personality, Joe Lowe, was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer. He says it wouldn't be this serious if people would get checked out sooner.
An emotional Lowe says early detection, and communities rallying around those in need, could make a world of difference to people just like him.
The entire Owensboro community is rallying around Lowe by holding benefit concerts, collecting money, and just writing words of encouragement.
The public is invited to sign Joe's scrap book, which is located at the WBKR and WOMI studios on Frederica Street.
