Several farmers turn out in western Kentucky, Thursday, to talk about the challenges they've faced this year.

Farmers all over the Tri-State have dealt with drought and excessive heat, and despite all of our recent rain, many of them will still lose money.

Congressman Brett Guthrie and Ag Commissioner James Comer spoke with some of those farmers, sending the message, the government is working to help them.

Comer took office as Ag Commissioner nine months ago, and says he's pleased with the progress the commonwealth is making for the agriculture industry.
