Viewers first got to know Iyanla Vanzant as Oprah's 'relationship expert' on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Iyanla is a spiritual teacher, a life coach and a woman of passion with a clear vision and a wicked sense of humor. Her backstory is extraordinary: Motherless at three, raped at age nine, a mother at 16, married and beaten from age 22 to 30. She became a college graduate at age 34 and a publishing force with 15 titles, including five New York Times Best-Sellers throughout her 40's. But what she is focused on today is using her extraordinary life experiences to help others. Women's Day Magazine has listed her among the country's most 100 Influential Women and she's also been called one of the "most dynamic speakers in the United States."
In her revealing new OWN series, "Iyanla: Fix My Life," Vanzant travels the country on a mission to restore relationships and heal lives.
