Castle and Mater Dei battled through the cold and the rain on Friday with the Knights coming out on top, but without Senior WR Cameron Parus the Knights may have fallen.  Parus had only six catches but half of them went for touchdowns.  He also finished with a 115 yards on the night.
North Posey's Wes Harness continued his great senior campaign with a monster performance.  Harness had more than 270 yards on the ground with 4 TDs.
Central's Trevor Ferguson got the Bears started with three interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.  He added 79 yards receiving and two more touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball.
And we don't do this often, but the entire Princeton defense is one of our nominees.  They held Mount Vernon to minus-40 yards rushing to move to 4-4 on the year.
