Owensboro Financial Management Owner Receives 8 Years in Prison

An Owensboro man receives eight years in prison for defrauding investors of over $1.5 million. A U.S. District Court found GE Capital Management owner Cory George guilty for devising an investment scheme.

George must also pay $1.6 million in restitution to the victims. Seized funds include $100,301.60 held by Dorman Trading and $13,555.18 by MF Global Trading in Chicago, and $370,334.77 held by People's Bank in Marion County, Kentucky.
