Daviess County Educator Named Kentucky Teacher of the Year

Daviess County Public School Teacher Heidi Givens has been named Kentucky's elementary schools teacher of the year.
Givens is an itinerant teacher for the deaf and hard hearing within the school corporation.
She has beet at the Daviess County School System since 2003, but she has been a teacher for 18 years. The nominating process for the teacher of the year award in anonymous, and Givens says she has no idea who nominated her.
