67 Mile Stretch of I-69 Set to Open

Indiana is weeks away from opening the first half of the Interstate 69 extension between Evansville and Indianapolis.
A 67-mile section of the highway from Evansville to near the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center will open on November 19th.
The initial section will connect communities from just northeast of Evansville at Interstate 64 to the U.S. 231 Interchange, southwest of Bloomington.
This section of the highway came in at a cost of 620 million dollars. That's about 80 million dollars under budget.
