UPDATE: At Least 2 Dead After Explosion Levels Homes In Indianapolis

UPDATE: The IndyStar is reporting two people dead after an explosion devastates an Indianapolis neighborhood.

PREVIOUS REPORT: An apparent gas explosion rocks an Indianapolis neighborhood, flattening at least one home and damaging many others on the same block.  It happened Saturday night in a south Indianapolis neighborhood. Smoke and flames filled the air.  Local Authorities and Homeland Security are investigating the blast, which sent debris flying into the air.  Fire crews say there is extensive damage in the neighborhood.

Two people have been transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  People who live in the area are being transported to a local elementary school as an emergency shelter.  Officials say some neighbors on the block are still unaccounted for, residents are reportedly looking for those family members.
