KY Deputy Fatally Shot During Traffic Stop

Kentucky State Police say it happened when Marion County Deputy, Anthony Rakes, pulled over a car around 2a.m. He later died while undergoing surgery at a nearby hospital.
According to Kentucky State Police, 49-year-old Dewayne Shipp has been arrested in the case. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for a leg injury.
Deputy Rakes had been with the Marion County Sheriff's Office for six years. Prior to that, he served on the Lebanon, KY Police Department.
