Two Injured in Owensboro Shooting

Owensboro Police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect from an early morning shooting.

Officers were called to Owensboro Medical Health System just before 5:00 Friday morning, where two men were being treated for minor gunshot wounds.

The men told police they were in a parked car in the 800 block of Maple Street around 4:30, when a man approached them and fired a shot into the vehicle.

The bullet hit 34-year-old Kesler Willingham in the hand and 39-year-old Jermaine Lee in the leg.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Owensboro Police at 270-687-8888, or Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
