Thursday many enjoyed their holiday of giving thanks, and after last night's fire in Newburgh many remain thankful for what they still have; especicilly other local businesses owners. The Saturday after Black Friday is a day for shoppers to support their local businesses.  After some store owners lost everything in the fire last night , other shop owners say the feeling in their stores today is less about the savings, more about the support.
Small Business Saturday' usually generates more shoppers than a usual Saturday for local business, but today shops in Newburgh say they have more customers stopping by than ever.  Small business owner, Tracy Gunn, understands the hard work it takes to make a small business succeed.
"It was just heartbreaking because we know what it takes to get your business up and going, and then just to see it all go up in flames over night, it's devastating," says Gunn.
Store owners say today was one of their busiest, and hope the appreciation for small stores continues.
