Police: Woman Steals Dentures as Avon Payment

By: Michael C. Fehn
Updated: December 3, 2012
An Evansville woman had a rude awakening when she discovered someone had allegedly stolen her dentures.

Police say Dana Gibson reported her dentures stolen on Friday evening.  But this is where it gets even more interesting.  Police say the alleged thief posted a picture of herself wearing the dentures  to Facebook.

Police believe the suspect stole the false teeth as payment for an Avon order.  On the woman's Facebook post, she claims to have stolen the dentures in an effort to "get even" with Gibson over an incident with her daughter.
