A police chase in Evansville caused several accidents. It began with a hit and run crash just before 5 p.m. on Rosenberger near the Lloyd Expressway. Officers say the driver ran from them, but they found him at a relative's house on S. Boehne Camp Rd. That's when the suspect reportedly ran and hid in the home. Sheriff's deputies and EPD officers finally captured the driver, 34-year-old James Boyd, after letting a K9 loose in the home. Boyd is charged with hit and run, resisting arrest, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
