An Evansville man faces charges after police say he broke into a popular east side restaurant, only to find the owner still there. Christopher Gilmore is charged with burglary, theft, and resisting law enforcement. The owner of The Pub says he heard the alarm go off, went downstairs, and found Gilmore in the kitchen. Gilmore then ran outside, and the owner followed him. A police officer was in the area and chased Gilmore several blocks before catching him.
