Reopening Mesker Ampitheater Could Prove Costly

By: Chris Veech
Updated: December 7, 2012

The price tag to repair and eventually re-open Mesker Amphitheatre could be close to $27 million. This is a recent study by two Indiana companies saying the renovations would have to be done in two steps. The first would involve installing seats, building a canopy, and other improvements. The second part would involve adding suite boxes and catering buildings. Mesker Amphitheatre was closed earlier this year because of potential code violations.

No matter how much this costs we still need to invest in the project. It will help Evansville add to our entertainment value and give our children future memories.
