Owensboro Officials Planning for Next Year's Air Show

With the overwhelming success of the air show in Owensboro's Smothers Park just four months ago, city officials are planning another one next Fall. The show drew 13,000 people this year. The exact date and participant lineup regarding the event will be announced sometime in mid-January. But the show will follow the format established in late-August, when the city's first air show in years capped off the three-day grand opening celebration of Smothers Park.
