When fundraiser meets fandom, The Night of Memories has been an event Tri-State sports fans look forward to for 13 years. Don Mattingly, Walter McCarty and Lou Brock have all made appearances in years past.  Donny Baseball won't make it this year, but there are a few new names to take his place.
For one night in January legends unite at the Vanderburgh County 4H Center, bringing memories of triumphs long ago, and some not so long ago, back to the fans.  Names like Mattingly, Brock, Griese, McCarty, all greats.
This year two new names, Andre Dawson, Cubs Hall of Famer, eight time All-Star with the Cubs and Expos, 1987 MLB MVP.  And Meadowlark Lemon, the Clown Prince himself.  One of the great showmen of basketball's winningest team, the Harlem Globetrotters.
Items like a basketball signed by Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, a racecar signed by Yankee Captain Derek Jeter and a slew of others will be auctioned off.  All the money goes to charity. And for just $20, you can have a night of memories you'll never forget.
This year's event is scheduled for January 12th at the Vanderburgh County 4H Center.  Kids can get autographs from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, but you'll have to be 21 years old to stay for the rest of the night. The silent auction begins at 5:30pm.  You can get tickets by clicking here.
