Fisher-Price Recalls Baby Sleep Seats

By: Jenny Hunt
Updated: January 8, 2013
Nearly 800,000 Newborn Rock 'N Play Sleepers have been recalled because of the possibility of mold growing in between the seat cushion and the frame.
Fisher-Price received 600 reports of mold on the product, and 16 consumers reported their infants were treated for respiratory issues, coughs, and hives after sleeping in the seats.
If you own one of the sleepers, check for mold under the cushion.
Call Fisher-Price for cleaning instructions at 800-432-5437 or visit www.service.mattel.com.
