Dubois County Crash Blamed on Texting and Driving

A Jasper teen is sent to the hospital after deputies say he was texting while driving.
The Dubois County Sheriff's Department says the 16-year-old was driving on Portersville Road Wednesday night, when he was distracted by his phone.
Deputies say he ran off the road and hit a drain pipe.
The teen was taken to Memorial Hospital for minor injuries to his face and hand. Deputies say speed also played a role in the crash.
