Former High School Coach Pleads Guilty

A former basketball coach at Ohio County High School pleaded guilty to unlawful transaction with a minor. Nathan Phelps is accused of having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl in 2010. Phelps coached the girl's basketball team at the time. His plea agreement requires him to be on probation for two years. He also cannot work at the school without the commonwealth attorney's permission.

Another coach at the same school is also accused of similar crimes. Tery Nofsinger pleaded guilty to lesser charges last Fall and also received probation.
