New Year, New Home? Find Out Who Qualifies for a Habitat for Humanity Home

Are you interested in owning your own home? It can be possible with the help of Habitat for Humanity of Evansville. If you answer yes to the following questions you may qualify.
YES I have NEED
I may have need for a Habitat for Humanity home if:
I currently do not qualify for traditional financing from a bank
My current living situation is overcrowded
My current living situation has major problems that my landlord will not fix or I am unable to fix myself.
I am currently overburdened by the cost of rent.
YES I have the ABILITY TO PAY
I may be able to pay if:
I can afford to pay approximately $300 a month on a no-interest mortgage
I have no liens or judgments
I have not had a bankruptcy in the last four years
My household income does not exceed 60% of the area median income based on the number
of people living in my household (See chart below for income guidelines.)
YES I am WILLING TO PARTNER
I am willing to partner if:
I am willing to work 300 hours (sweat-equity hours) on my home and the homes of others.
I am willing to attend homeownership workshops.
