Former IU Basketball Player Facing Possible Attempted Murder Charges

 Former Indiana University basketball starter Devan Dumes has surrendered to face an attempted murder charge in connection with a car-jacking attempt. The 26-year-old is accused of opening fire on a home with his brother and 1-year-old nephew inside and now faces charges in a separate shooting. The victim in the latest crime was allegedly shot in the neck as Dumes tried to steal his car, according to police. Dumes played at IU through 20-10.
