DNR Asking to Drop Charges in Deer Case

The Indiana couple facing charges for keeping a baby deer on their property may not be facing jail time afterall. The Department of Natural Resources is asking the charges be dismissed. Governor Mike Pence said Thursday he wanted the DNR to re-evaluate the case. The case has gained a lot of attention all over the United States. The Connersville couple found the injured deer and let it live on their property for two years before being told it had to be put down.
