The Rockport City Council unaminously voted to file a petition against Vectren.  They are questioning rates on the proposed coal-to-gasification plant and plan to take their petition to the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.

Doug Petitt, Vectren's Vice President of Marketing and Conservation, shares his reaction to this new petition.

Good for you Rockport! We're tired of being bent over by your company. We pay more and more and for what benefit? The underground lines that have supposedly been worked on for years? Where are those at Vectren?? We're definitely paying for them in our monthly bills... yet I see new above ground lines & poles being installed all up and down Oak Hill Rd.... snakes... the whole lot of them.
