USI Offering Tax Help

Tax season is upon us, and local accounting students want to help you.
Through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, nine USI student volunteers will be providing free income tax preparation each week.
About 16 taxpayers will be able to receive assistance during two sessions each, Wednesday through April 10th. These sessions will be held in the USI Business and Engineering Center.
Individuals will be required to bring tax information, photo identification cards, and social security cards for themselves and their dependents.
The assistance will be provided by appointment only, and you can make one by calling 812-464-1718.
