McLean County School Briefly Put On Lockdown

By: web producer
Updated: February 11, 2013
A Tri-State school is briefly put on lockdown.
It happened at Livermore Elmentary School in McLean County, Kentucky.
The lockdown occurred due to a police chase in the area.  The Superintendent says the chase ended shortly after the school was put on lockdown, the lockdown was lifted, and students were allowed to go home at their regular times.
Few details about the chase itself area available, except that it apparently started in Hopkins County and ended in McLean County, and that no one was seriously injured.

I agree with Sherral! I'm sure if this event had occurred in Evansville, it would have received much more coverage. I think follow-up on this story is warranted.
