More Details Released on Alleged Abuse in Jasper

The victim's name isn't being released, but court records show the person suffered from dementia and is an endangered adult. Investigators with the Indiana Attorney General's Office used a hidden camera to catch the suspects. Indiana State Police say the two supervisors were told of the alleged abuse by another nursing assistant, but did nothing about it.
"If you aren't getting what you desire through the staff at the facility, then confront us because it is against the law to do this and people are willing to investigate," says Sgt. Chad Dick of the Indiana State Police
Blaine Ballard, Casey Hill, Wendy Sutherlin, & Tonya Sanders face battery, neglect, and intimidation charges. Two others, Katrina Patterson and Sheryl Rockett, are accused of failing to report battery or neglect.
Providence Home Health Care Center officials say they were deeply shocked by the allegations and those involved in the abuse were fired.
