UPDATE: Three Warrick County schools are given the all clear after they were on lockdown for more than an hour Wednesday morning.

Lynnville Elementary, Tecumseh Jr./Sr. High School, and Elberfeld Elementary were placed in a perimeter lockdown after a reported armed robbery a few blocks from Lynnville Elementary.  Warrick County Sheriff Brett Kruse says it happened around 9:20 AM at a home on East 2nd Street.  The victim told deputies a man tried to steal her truck, but ended up pinning her against her garage with her vehicle.  The victim told deputies the robber was a caucasian man with long hair and a beard.  The robber was reportedly wearing a camouflage jacket and a backpack at the time.

Warrick Co. Schools Asst. Superintendent Todd Armstrong says Tecumseh and Elberfeld went into a secure mode because school officials received word the robber was headed west from the scene.

UPDATE:
Warrick County Dispatch tells Eyewitness News that all three schools, which had been placed under lockdown, have been given the all clear.  What's NOT clear is whether a suspect is in custody.

We are continuing to follow this story and will bring you new information as it becomes available.

UPDATE:
The Warrick County Sheriff's Office says the incident began just before 9:30 Wednesday morning, when a man tried to steal a truck from a home on 2nd Street in Lynnville.  Deputies say a woman ended up being pinned by the truck.  She was taken to a local hospital.  It's not sure how serious her injuries are, but she told investigators she did not know her attacker.

The suspect is described as a caucasian man with a scruffy beard.  He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket.

Lynnville Elementary, Elberfeld Elementary and Tecumseh Junior/Senior High School remain on lockdown as the investigation continues.
