CVS to Pay $400,000 to Resolve Illegal Billings to Medicaid

Indiana will get almost half a million dollars after CVS fakes paperwork
for Medicaid money. The state's attorney general says CVS was filing
paperwork for restricted medicines like pain killers without getting
approval from prescribing doctors. Medicaid has specific protections to
avoid prescription abuse. The attorney general says CVS went around
those rules to get thousands of prescriptions covered that should not
have been. The pharmacy settled out of court.
