Coroner Releases 2012 Suicide Stats For Vanderburgh County

The Vanderburgh County Corner's Office says the suicide rate for the county was down slightly in 2012.
There were 42 suicides in Vanderburgh County last year, compared to 44 in 2011. Of those, 30 were men and 12 were women.
The most common months for suicides were January and March with 6 each. Saturday and Sunday tied for days of the week with 8.
Relationships, money problems, and problems with the law were the leading causes for suicide.
