Kentucky Girls District Play Under Way, O'boro and OC Play On

District play is underway for Kentucky girls' high school basketball. Owensboro Catholic, Owensboro, Apollo and Daviess County are all working to get through District 9.
Catholic, led as always by senior Rebecca Greenwell, defeated Daviess County 66-38. Owensboro survived a tough game against Apollo, winning 60-47.
The Lady Aces and the Lady Red Devils will play in the district championship game on Thursday at Owensboro High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
