Weather is being blamed for an accident that shut down Fulton Ave. in Evansville. It happened around 3:30 p.m. at Fulton and Florida. Police say the driver of a white car lost control on Florida, skidded into Fulton, hit a pick up truck, then hit a utility pole. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The road was closed for about half an hour.
