One person is confirmed dead in the multi-vehicle accident this evening in Daviess County. Law enforcement and first responders reopened the William Natcher Parkway after it was shutdown for three hours in both the northbound and southbound lanes. The accident happened around 6 p.m. just eight miles south of Owensboro near the Harford exit and involved five vehicle. Crews say a load of grain or dir fell out of a truck and turned to mud causing several vehicles to crash. Daviess County Coroner Jeff Jones says one person died in the crash. The victim has yet to be identified.
