A bill that would require doctors to meet with women and show them ultrasounds of their fetuses before performing abortions passed the Kentucky Senate and is headed to the house. The bill passed 33 to 4. Senate Bill 79 faces an uncertain fate in the house where it could go to the health & welfare committee. Here is how state senators from our area voted: Dorsey Ridley of Henderson, Jerry Rhoads of Madisonville, David Boswell of Owensboro and Carroll Gibson of Leitchfield all voted yes for the bill.
