Tech Takes Over Owensboro

High school students from across the country are in Owensboro for a clash of the robotic titans.
They're participating in the First Tech Challenge at Owensboro Community and Technical College.
28 teams from Kentucky and 11 other states made robots that could lift plastic rings onto pegs of different heights.
Students not only had a good time, they also learned a lot about robot design and engineering.
This year's winner moves on to the Tech Challenge World Championship in Saint Louis later this year.
